Video & pictures taken in LED & fluorescent light.
This is the greenest Chrysoberyl I’ve ever owned. It could easily pass for a mint green Tsavorite. I know of only one other Chrysoberyl on the internet as green as this stone for sale. It is a Vanadium Chrysoberyl & is much more expensive per carat than this stone. This stone hails from Sri Lanka & may be colored by Vanadium too, but I cannot say for sure. I do know it was an extremely hard stone to photograph. Especially on fingers with my finger prints showing through the stone & looking black, due to the stone’s light tone. The stone is much nicer in person. It looks good in all light, but it becomes more vivid under LED & fluorescent light, & it is absoutuley stunning in direct sunlight, even becoming more vivid & actually could pass for a nice Tsavorite. Unfortunately, I could not capture the stones color outside. I tried with my fingers & a white background & the pictures just were terrible, to say the least. Very frustrating. Hard to take direct sunlight pics.
The stone faces up directly eye clean. If you tilt the stone under stronger light & look through the table, you’ll see a small inclusion under the crown. This in no way affects the beauty of the stone, & you must look for it. So, I’ll call the stone eye clean to very slightly included. It is cut well with no window & has a large face up size. There very small yellow color zone you can see in the blown-up pictures. This is not apparent to the naked eye at all.
In closing, this is an extremely rare gemstone, among the very rarest I’ve ever owned. Its price may seem high, but where are you, or I for that fact, going to find another one?
