Inshave

Description

A beautifully crafted, well balanced 'inshave' is a delight to use. In essence, a curved, deep carving tool with two wooden handles. The blade length is 170mm (about 7") and the width is around 1-3/8". An 'inshave' is the correct tool to use when you need to cut deep hollows for bowls or when carving chair seats. The blade is forged, heat treated, and ground. Made by 'Two Cherries'.
