Description

Mid-Century Swedish Armillary Sundial. Condition is "Used". A beautiful Mid-Century patinated bronze Armillary Sundial with a copper interior band. Possibly a piece by Sune Rooth. The green finish is in excellent shape with some of the gold painted brush strokes on Atlas' body still visible. I purchased it in 2004 from an estate sale of a man who had emigrated to Washington state from Sweden and had received it as a gift from his sister. I believe this piece is from a public park in Sweden that had been re-landscaped. This piece is in excellent condition and has been kept inside and is well cared for.
