    Description

    I am not familiar with this item.  Approximate size is 11 7/8" x 8 1/4" x 1".  Oval shape platter with embossed scallop design done in gold.  Back is marked with a crown - REX BAVARIA and signed M E or M F ? Mason 1940 in black.  Over all very nice condition - there is a very tiny chip to the underside of the top rim - maybe a manufacture flaw - it is smooth but not fully glazed and there is gold paint on that area where it should be.  Surface is shiny.  There is one extremely tiny speck of gray on the top side and a couple on the bottom. Unpacked weight approximately 1 pound 6 ounce.
