    Description

    A very nice set of 2 Vintage ceramic/porcelain stoneware, rectangular and oval dishes with a classic ribbed exterior design serving dishes. Pre-owned. In very good condition. A little stain on the bottom. No chips, cracks, breaks, scrapes or paint loss. Colors white and blue. Size Oval with handle:10 3/4" L x 5 1/2" W x 1 1/2 " H. Size Rectangular with handle: 11 1/2" L x 6 1/4" W x 1 1/2" H. Features handles for easy transporting.The rectangular dish has a painted blue rim on top with white, and the oval dish is colored blue on the outside with 2 painted pears with leaves inside the dish with both having white color inside the dishes. A shiny glaze finish, unique hand painted pattern and design. Durable stoneware. Non-porous surface. Does not absorb food odors,or flavors. Resists chipping, cracking and staining. On the bottom of the dishes is a pottery surface with no paint or glaze. Smooth enough for not to scrape the counter tops. Refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave safe. Not sure for the oven on both of them. Easy clean-up after cook, long lasting to keep repeat use. Multi-use dishes. Oval dish: a wide shallow design. Holds around 8 oz. Can hold potato au gratin, mac and cheese, scallop potatoes etc. Also great for serving snacks, such as nuts, candies and more. Rectangular dish: Holds around 18.6 oz.
